According to statistics from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, In 2020, 1750 children died in the United States due to child abuse or neglect. Stories have shown up on the news time and time again about another innocent child losing their life at the hands of their own family members. The most devastating part is that most of these deaths could have been prevented.
Children’s Advocacy Centers of Tennessee states that a child is abused or neglected every 47 seconds in the United States and 90% of the children who are abused know their abuser. The impact of child abuse or neglect causes trauma and stress that is difficult to even imagine. So in an effort to help reduce the stress and trauma these children face, AngelAid was formed.
At AngelAid, we work with the people of our community to help in the fight against child abuse. Our Child Abuse Prevention Program allows us to teach children and adults how to recognize signs of abuse or neglect and empower them to take the neccessary steps to put an end to it.
We are devoted to working with children and families to help them build a safe environment. Angelaid provides children and families with the aid and resources that they need so they can gain back control of their lives.

AngelAid also works on various projects throughout the year to support underprivileged children and families by providing them with nutritious food, clothing, bedding, basic necessities, toiletries, school supplies, resources for housing, resources for employment, and resources for better healthcare options.
